Om du redan jobbar med A/B-tester eller har planer på att börja göra det så kanske du redan är familjär med Googles produkt Google Website Optimizer. Denna har sedan 1 augusti tagits bort ur Googles portfölj som enskild produkt och istället ersatts och integrerats in i Google Analytics. Ett helt rätt steg av Google anser jag då dessa två produkter är så hårt knutna till varandra när det gäller arbetsprocessen med webbanalys. Dessutom får vi nu en stor fördel med att vi slipper två olika spårningskoder som vi tidigare behövde installera. Nu funkar den vanliga klassiska Google Analytics spårningskoden med endast ett enkelt tillägg på den sida som är din orginalsida i testet. Vi kan också använda de redan uppsatta målen i Google Analytics för samma mål med A/B-testet.
Du hittar funktionen inne i Google Analytics under Standardrapporter -> Innehåll -> Experiment. På engelska Standard Reporting -> Content -> Experiments.

Efter en strid ström med lanseringar som Windows 8, Windows Phone 8 och Microsoft Surface var det nu dags för Microsoft att med buller och bång lansera nya Office och nya SharePoint. Vi har tittat närmare på de viktigaste nyheterna.
På en presskonferens i San Fransisco den 17:e juli levererade Steve Ballmer nyheterna kring produkterna som ryktesvägen gått under namnet ”wave 15”, ”Office 13”, ”SharePoint 2014” eller ”The New Office/The New SharePoint”. Nu verkar det vara klart att namnet blir ”Office 2013” samt ”SharePoint 2013”.
Ninetech har testat några av de nya funktionerna (här kan du själv skapa ett eget testkonto av onlineversionen).
Först och främst är det här en produkt som genomgått en rad stora förändringar. Alla delar är integrerade och hänger ihop till skillnad från tidigare; Outlook, SharePoint, Office och Skydrive. Flera delar av sviten känns mer konsumentinriktade och det är tydligt att Microsoft tänkt ”Cloud First”.
De sociala funktionerna har får ett mycket större utrymme och Microsoft rör sig nu tydligt i riktningen mot sociala intranät – bland annat finns en egen flik för Newsfeed där man kan följa sina kollegor, gilla, kommentera det mesta som händer runt om i SharePoint. Dock saknas fortfarande möjligheten att presentera externa nyheter i samma flöde och det finns ett fortsatt behov av att anpassa funktionerna för att ge bäst nytta för varje specifikt företag.
Office har fått ett nytt och mer komplett webbgränssnitt och fungerar nu i Safari, Chrome och på iPad, något som hittills begränsat nyttan av webboffice. Dessa funktioner hamnar också i sync med konsumentvarianterna på Skydrive. Snyggt!
Microsoft lanserar även ett nytt koncept för Appar där man enkelt kan bygga in funktionalitet i SharePoint, Outlook och Office med tekniker som HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript osv. Apparna kan publiceras på en publik app-store eller privat inne på företaget. Detta tror vi kommer ge ökade möjligheter att effektivt leverera förbättringar som fungerar över hela produktfloran vilket sparar tid och kostnader.
Sammantaget kommer det bli ett spännande år för oss som arbetar med SharePoint. På Ninetech ser vi ett ännu större potential att använda SharePoint för stödja våra kunder med effektivare processer, större kunskapsspridning och förstärkt företagskultur. Vi tror även att fler kunder kommer att börja överväga molnet, och därmed Office 365, som ett alternativ medan andra kommer välja att uppgradera sina existerande installationer av SharePoint Server 2010 och Microsoft Office.

Idag när jag var ute på aftonbladet.se hittade jag en länk där Aftonbladet vill att vi skall prova nya aftonbladet.se. Den är inte speciellt mycket med än en startsida men de har äntligen lagt in en toppmeny:

Kort sagt en försiktig redesign som får gamla besökare att känna igen sig men ändå ger lite nytt. Skall bli spännande att se hur de tar detta vidare. Det som är lite tråkigt är att det är fler baners som fastnar i olika lägen och ibland ”spärrar” ut text när jag scrollar ned.
På jobbet utvecklar vi just nu vårt erbjudande kring sociala intranät, den stora trenden inom intern webb just nu. Med sociala intranät menas alltså ett intranät som inbjuder till interaktion och kommunikation, som är en kanal för samarbete och utbyte av idéer snarare än en megafon för ledningen eller en anslagstavla för nyheter. Möjligheter för alla att kommunicera och utbyta erfarenheter, kommentera på inlägg, gilla och också läsa in nyheter och skvaller från externa källor, kännetecknar ett socialt intranät.
Jag kom över en undersökning som är gjord av några APCO Worldwide och Gagen MacDonald under 2011 (amerikanska respondenter) som gav några intressanta siffror jag tänkte dela med mig av. Kanske något för IT- och marknadsavdelningar som vill övertyga ledning om nyttan i sociala intranät! 🙂

Solen skiner från en molnfri himmel och vi har haft runt 30 grader i tre veckor. En lägenhet i Spanien visade sig vara ett bra val. Det första vi gjorde när vi kom ned i sommar var att installera internetåtkomst. Efter lite inkörningsproblem var vi igång och sociala webben låg öppen. Men på Twitter och Facebook började det dyka upp uppdateringar som ”Jag tar nu semester och kopplar bort mig från sociala medier”. Vilket fick mig att börja fundera på detta fenomen. Är koppling dator = jobb = sociala medier eller vad?
När jag sedan tänkte vidare kunde jag konstatera att det finns fyra sorter av inställningar till semester och sociala medier:
Jag har semester alltså använder jag inte sociala medier
Jag har semester från jobbet, inte livet, dvs. jag kör på som vanligt
Jag håller koll på social medier men gör lite färre uppdateringar
Punkt nummer två är skriven efter Lars Falkmans briljanta uppdatering på Facebook, när nämnde Lars precis började sin semester. Men alla väljer helt själv vad de vill ha för inställning. Själv är jag en nummer två med lite dragning till tre (tar aldrig med telefon till stranden) och när jag är utanför spanienlägenhetens Wifi är jag nummer fyra.
Så är sociala medier samma som att sitta och vara redaktör för ett intranät? När jag tar semester så struntar jag i allt digitalt. Vad tycker ni?

Bra skrivet. Jag är digital året runt och jorden runt. Är jag utanför Europa försöker jag nån gång om dagen hitta ett Wi-Fi-nät att koppla upp mig mot.
Jag MÅSTE inte uppdatera Facebook, Twitter och Instagram men jag gör det gärna.
Däremot har jag ett grymt nyhetssug som måste stillas. Inrikesnyheter, utrikesnyheter, tekniknyheter och kulturnyheter. Suget är stort!
Har också några regler… Ingen telefon eller iPad på stranden, inte uppdatera under middagen eller lunchen (efter i så fall) och att ALLTID vara uppmärksam på vad hustrun säger. Står man och leker med telefonen och missar konversationen kan irritationen bli stor.
Just nu pågår almedalsveckan för fullt och jag vill göra er uppmärksamma på att många av våra kunder är där på plats. En av dem är Humana som erbjuder personlig assistans till personer med funktionsnedsättning. Hoppas de får fram sitt viktiga budskap!
